Choosing a blockchain protocol

If you intend to create and use smart contracts on a public blockchain network, use:

• Ethereum
• Polygon
• BNB Smart Chain
• Avalanche
• Fantom
• Tezos
• Solana

For a bitcoin network, use Bitcoin.

If your goal is to create and use smart contracts securely and confidentially between parties, use Corda.

If your goal is to create a highly tunable modular private network with smart contracts, use Hyperledger Fabric.

If you intend to create and use smart contracts on a private blockchain network, use Quorum.

If your goal is to only keep transactions on an immutable ledger, use MultiChain.
