Difference between Quorum and Ethereum

Quorum is a fork of Go Ethereum and is a permissioned consortium blockchain protocol.

Quorum has faster transactions due to its consensus algorithms: Raft and IBFT.

Quorum does not need ether to operate.

Quorum supports private transactions.
